Subject: Logic Pro 7 and MachFive Problems
Message #178887
Where do I begin? I just reinstalled MachFive, I also updated using the version from the website (1.2), then installed the BetaX version to pass Logic's AU Manager validation. It passed validation, and I can start a new session using MachFive; however, I cannot open saved sessions that I used M5 in. When I click on the session icon, Logic launches and goes through its paces, then just before the session is supposed to open, . . . it crashes. It crashes every time. It will not open previously saved sessions. Remember, this is my second time installing M5. I had to do so for the same problem. When I deactivate M5 in the AU Manager, I am able to open all previously saved sessions that would not open. The problem is, I cannot use M5 because it is deactivated. All of my sessions use at least 1 instance of M5 for something or another. I rely heavily on it. This is unacceptable. I spent part of a day on the phone with apple tech support and we identified the problem to to be M5. No other AU plugin. Can someone get on this and let me know what I can do to resolve this? Because at this point, I am wasting time in the studio and becoming very frustrated.
