This doesn't sound right, reply to me privately as there could be problems
with the hardware config. I'll give it a shot.

No, I wouldn't be concerned. W/service pack 2 installed you're pretty much
safe.

GS2 runs -very- well on an older Socket A Athlon 2000+, however.. I'm
running WinME on that machine. It serves as my office/Gigastudio
combination. :-)
A scanner, printer and video interface are all on this machine and it seems
to do very well running GS2 w/768Meg RAM.

Upgraded coolers are $30, If you can go up to a 2800+ there would
definitely be a difference.
