Subject: max number of audio tracks
Message #178842
Hi, I'm running Logic 6.4.2, with the Emagic EMI 2/6 audio interface(updated with the A26 driver), OSX 10.3.6. I can't seem to get more than 32 audio tracks no matter how I set the driver's preferences. Is this a limiation of the EMI/A26? I've tried setting it higher, re-launching Logic, etc. etc. And, I plan to get a new audio interface soon--thinking MOTU or Presonus. Are certain manufacturers units preferred for use with Logic(stability, functionality, etc.)? Thanks.

Haven't you heard of Sgt Pepper!? Ok, joking aside - what machine are you using? Dave
