I just had contact with the company that sells the Old Lady
collection. He is willing to do a generous Group-buy offer for the
L.U.G. from up to 50% discount depending on the amount of buyers!
Now that's not bad, guys.
To me it is the best sounding and all-round useable Grand-piano of
all the ones we've been discussing in this last week! Have a look
and listen at:

I hope that the list-moderators can pick up the group-buy details.

Hi there,
Thanks for notifying us. We already have the next two group buys
worked out for December and February unfortunately. The list
admins have decided to continue only having group buys every 2-3
months as we have been doing for years, so we don't saturate the
list with them but keep them as special events. We will keep this
and the many other group buy offers we have received from
interested companies in mind, also, there will soon be a section
on the logic-users.org website where people can suggest products
for group buys and vote on which ones everyone is most interested
in.
Best wishes
Jeremy Martin, list owner

What are the next two group buys that have been chosen?

Both will be extremely pleasant surprises, stuff that has been
highly praised and wanted on the LUG for a long time ;-)

Maybe we should contact the group buy organizers directly in case
they're not reading this list at the moment?

Hi Jeremy,
Isn't it a pity that initiatives that come from list-members are
thrown away. We have a willing company to sell and lots of
enthousiastic list-members who would like a nice-priced copy of the
Old Lady. It's in everybody's benefit...!?

Why not have them slightly more often? I think it's highly unlikely
that every LUG member would be interested in *every* group buy so if
you had group buys more often, a larger number of people would be kept
satisfied.

I remember he was offering a bundle for Giga 3 at NSS forum. You can buy the
Emperor
and the Old Lady 24 Bits.for $250 US. Maybe you can tell Michiel Post for a
better offer for
LUG ;-)
Ready to buy...

PostPiano are doing their own group buy on the northern Sounds forum. I
just found this on their website:
http://www.mijnwinkel.nl/shop8272/c5/
It is for the Old Lady for all formats and could go as low as $80 if over
81 people sign up. It ends on December 6th.
Regards,
Steve
PS - I have no affiliation with PostPiano whatsoever, just a happy user of
their libraries.
