I've used this application to backup my OSX stuff too many times to
count now. I've actually had to restore my system once. I have NI,
WAVES, and Spectrasonics. All have worked flawlessly upon a restore,
never had an issue needing to reauthorize.
Maybe it's a problem with your system. Also, when you're restoring, is
it to the same hard drive? Because all the companies you mention use
authorizations that are hard drive specific. Also, you must have CCC
repair permissions, and it's a great idea to use it's compression
scheme for ASR, it takes a bit longer for the backup but it makes it
work much better.
