Subject: Automate Vanguard in Logic
Message #176363
I checked out Refx's vanguard based on what someone said and its a pretty cool and inexpensive softsynth. However, it seems that you can not automate the controls in Logic. I changed the filter cutoff and so forth, while recording, but nothing seemed to stick. Is there some trick or is this a limitation of Logic or Vanguard?

Am afraid to say this is the extent of the Vanguard CC parameters sent & recieved - Rex Vanguard CC Data 1 Modwheel Adds to cutoff 7 Volume 8 AMP Spread 10 AMP Pan 11 Expression 21 Trancegate Contour 22 Vibrato Speed 23 Vibrato Depth 71 Filter Resonance 74 Filter Cutoff Frequency Would be nice to have a bit more tweakage! See if this helps. Regards Richard

It happens for me on LAWP 5.5.1. Have you transformed the CCs to fader events ? Regards: Darth
