Subject: Nodes are nada...
Message #176325
Hi, I'm hoping someone here can shed some light on this problem. I'm trying to get the Logic Node feature working, and so far I'm having no luck. Here is the setup: G5 Dual 2.0 15" PowerBook 1.5Ghz G4 733 (Quicksilver) NetGear GS108 non-blocking Gigabit switch All cable is Belkin Cat 6 (didn't want to chance flakey connectors, so I didn't build my own cables) The cable runs are 2 x 50' and 1 x 15', all three coming off the switch. The switch shows that all three are in gigabit mode. All computers had node running on them. I can see the other computers in the Node Tab of Audio Hardware preferences, but when I click the track button with the "ellipsis" icon, it turns into what looks like two dots, but never "glows" as the docs describe. The buttons seem to have only two states as described above. I know a few folks here have gotten this to work, so some advice would be greatly appreciated. An update: I managed to see the Quicksilver Node from my G5 Dual 2.0, and to send a Space Designer instance to it, but the PowerBook node was grayed out. I remain puzzled...
