I think I've found a very bizarre bug in Logic 7 pro. But I'd like to
see if someone on the list can confirm it.
If I do a bounce with the click track (klopfgeist sp?) playing, i.e.
for a click track with samples to perform to, and I start the song from
1 1 1 1, It will only play the first click, then stop the click, but
still bounce the song.
However if I start the bounce from any other beat, i.e. 1 2 1 1, or 0 4
3 1. It will play the click all the way through the song.
Important / relevant information: The songs in question are at a 96k
sample rate. I'm on OSX.3.5, Logic 7, 1.5 gig ram in a Dual 800 G4.
I've been able to recreate this, 100%. Though I haven't yet tried to do
this in 44.1 or 48k yet.
Thanks,
Jody

Jody,
I just discovered this problem today! I was using 48k btw, AND
Logic 6.4.1 in OS 9. So I guess this seems to be a "longstanding"
bug. I was using the CoreAudio audio objects bounce feature and got
just the click for the whole track. I thought I was going loony!
This was with offline bouncing...didn't try realtime tho.
My workaround was to bounce in DAE instead. Funny bug.
