I'd like to add my G4MDD to the list of those using Logic Pro and finding the system freeze or crash, in my case especially when sitting idle for 10-15 minutes it will freeze, requiring reboot. Since these are Apple's hardware and software, I'd hope there would be some acknowledgement/enlightenment about this from Apple. And I don't have $4K to go to G5 and Logic 7. Could a solution be as simple as keeping the hard drives from going to sleep? G4MDD, 1.2Gx2, Logic 6.4.1, 2GRam

Sam - I have the same config (before moving to 7.0) and found that sleep mode AND bad ram was a problem. It may not be the same problem but it was similar. Brian

My ram checks out, so I think it's o.k. (seems you can never be 100% sure on ram. I'll try the no sleep solution.
