I can easily run 6-7 softsynths/samplers, some effects and Reason on a G3/350! With Reaktor, which is a _major_ CPU hog, you should consider printing the parts to audio. I print everything to audio at the end of the day. I think a G5 iMac is more than adequate to handle a medium-sized software studio. However, your mileage may vary... HTH Mars
