notes for editing by note range. Is there a similair command in Logic? I
have a
viola part that was performed on a synth patch but the part exceeds the
natural range of the Viola. Now that i am using Symphoniic Orch samples from
EastWest (which adhers to the actual range of the Viola) to play the part i
want to
cut the notes that are out of range of the Viola and assign them to the Vcl.
Thanks

the transform page. You can just use it to select the note range you
want. It's a bit to figure out, but thats one way to do it.
The other: Open the matrix, shrink the view, select the group of notes
you want, cut, and create new track, past. Just make sure the timeline
is at the top of the song file..
