Subject: Logic 7 External Effects?
Message #172219
I saw the feature to quickly enable external synths. This is awesome, it was just a pain to do before, especially at 3 in the morning. But does this also allow external effects? E.g. routing a softsynth out a specific output to an effect and then back in through another dedicated input. Michael

I know you can already do the same thing with the I/O plugin, but this would be way more elegant once set up. -haven

I just want to know if you can do this with external effects, choosing them from the insert menu. BTW this was a new feature in Cubase SX 3. It's a timesaver and a makes less interuption of workflow, or musicflow in this case. Michael
