Say, does anyone know of a way to determine where audio objects are
placed when you create them?
I haven't been able to figure out a way to prevent them from popping
up wherever they want (often off-screen, since I have large mixers in
my dual-monitor screensets).

Someone suggested to me to option-drag an existing audio object
(copying it) to the place you want, rather than creating a new one.
