Yoonchi responded to my query about using this utility to keep LAWP from loading all the possible software engines, including Unity DS-1. I should have been more explicit; I indeed mean HUBI's Loopback Utility (not just "HUBI," as I called it earlier). The basic problem, again, is that I wish to start Logic _without_ automatically starting up Unity DS-1. Supposedly HUBI's loopback will do this for me, but I first wanted to know whether anybody has tried it, as well as whether it is really necessary.
