Subject: [LUG] Need help w/ I/O helper
Message #169962
Thanks in large part to the help I got on this list, I recorded my first song in Logic. Now I would like to run the mix through a tube limiter. I put an I/O helper as an insert on the stereo output object that I'm using to control the level. It goes to the limiter but the only way I can get the signal back is to create an audio input object. Then everything works and I get the post-limited signal at the output object channel. Is this how it's supposed to work? I didn't realize I had to create an audio input object? Thanks for all the great help, JP
