why logic?
use another (maybe free) vsti host on the powerbook and connect them via
midi/audio. in any case you'll have to deal with latencies, tho.
in the near future it will be possible to use a FireWire/mLAN connection
between 2 computers, too (for midi and audio simultaneously).

I thought mLAN was only for Yamaha gear? Or have you just revealed some
inside info? ;-)

no i just asked at the mLAN site and they answered something like
"everyone's asking for that, we're working on it" :)
they're trying to make their mLAN a new studio standard, so it would be
crazy not to allow connecting several computers through it, wouldn't it?

Actually, I had a look a mLANcentral before your response arrived. Yep -
everyone's asking for it, but Yamaha weren't too keen on the idea!

WE reckon it'd be crazy, but we're not a corporation. Corporations don't
'think' like people with common sense - have you noticed?
