I think it's 200 (not by a Logic computer at the moment) but you can easily check it with the "preview" button. Press the button and listen. All the best Per Boysen --- http://www.boysen.se http://www.looproom.com

I don't know what a "step" or "halfstep" is. Perhaps you mean "semitone"? 100 cents = 1 semitone 1200 cents = 12 semitones = 1 octave f-erenc szabo, smarty pants Z+E+R+O+B+E+A+T "NOW POWERED BY THE MIRACLE OF THE TRANSISTOR!" <http://home.goodmedia.com/~zerobeat>

1/2 step in piano tuning cents is 100. 100 cents = 1/2 step. --- In logic-users@yahoogroups.com, Per Boysen <per@b...> wrote: > On Sep 4, 2004, at 9:10, synesthesian wrote: > > > in time machine what is harmonic shift (cent) for a half step? whole > > step? > > trying to pitch shift a vox -2 steps down. > > I think it's 200 (not by a Logic computer at the moment) but you can > easily check it with the "preview" button.
