I sent my previous mail to quickly ... as I finally could have some other test about EMI digital in and out. I solved the problem of displug and replug to swap between digital and analogic outputs, which was in fact a problem with my mixing table, nothing to do with the EMI. I have a test playing an audio file through digital output (connected to the 01X used as a standalone mixing table, not connected at all to the Powerbook). There's the same problem of continus cracks (as a "shower", don't know technical english name for it). What is noticeable is that the less audio signal, the more cracks can be heard. It's the same with the two EMIs (2/6 and 6/2).
