Hi
I'm getting this error when I try to work with any audio files in
Logic Pro. I have tried fixing
permissions, checking the material is 'read and write', resetting
'audio record path', and of
course trashing and resetting preferences. I can't think of anything
else to try! I have
tried everything suggested by responses to the earlier question re
this.
Some inspirational ideas, please.
Powerbook 1.25 G4
OSX 10.3.4
Logic Pro 6.4.1

Hi,
did you try to reset the audio record path (the shortcut is simply - A)
I have found that sometimes it is good to reset it,so Logic re-recognizes
the audio record
path, since it uses this for edits, fade files, and the audio file itself too.
I hope this helps,
Nick
I've had this problem with audio from CDs and solved it by resetting
the permissions AFTER copying the file to my drive and BEFORE importing
the file into logic.

Thanks to all for the responses. It was privileges, I guess following
transfer of my stuff to
my shiny new 1.25 powerbook.
Back to making music!
