Subject: Re: LA ENV Q: No loops allowed without delays?
Message #9945
Hi, Just a further note to my previous question about "loops" in LA environment. I've found a work around that involves using 128 transformers before the map sending in 128 controllers with different -1- values, and then processing the 128 read map values after. Anybody know a more elegant work around? Delays are a disaster, because I need this process triggered by a note one, with the info before the note on progresses. Introducing delays leads to timing problems galore! Some things in the environment would be so much simpler and more elegant if it was possible to write little C subroutines and encapsulate them as a macro, or something like that. Hint, hint, hint,..... Jim Savage
