Well, I did this. I even connected the Unitor8 to a different serial port, just to be sure, and nothing has changed. I've also noticed that, in Logic AWP, no other drivers are offered to me -- not even the ones for my internal cheapo soundcard. Yet, when I run the Multimedia control panel and set the default MIDI player to the internal card and I run Winamp or Mediaplayer, it uses the card. I ran Find Key, but there was no dialog or other response, so I don;t know if it actually worked or anything. But I can run Logic. It just doesn't offer me any driver/output options. And I still can't get the PC/Win95 to find my Unitor8. *sigh* -N P.S. I have never quite understood how COM ports work versus serial ports. I plugged the cord with the dongle on it into the top serial port (where it's always been and always worked before) and the Unitor into the bottom serial port. I know the dongle and the Unitor have always been on COM1 and my modem on COM2. How do I know that the bottom serial port would be assigned to? *double sigh*
