Has anyone else had more system crashes since upgrading to logic pro?
My system has crashed at least once a day when using logic-pro,
I very rarly had problems with platnuim 6.

If by crashing you mean (error -10010 & -10008 - disk too slow or
system overload) I've had more of these errors than I would want to
admit after upgrading to Logic Pro.
I've tried all the standard troubleshooting tricks, and now I'm
considering completely reformating my HDs and reinstalling everything.
Unless, one of the brainiacs on this forum has any solutions.
I also had smooth sailing with Logic 6.3.3 on OS 10.3.x. Although, our
crashes may be different, they're both annoying. Anyone have any
solutions to Logic Pro's idiosyncrasies?

Just for the record, I often get the "disk too slow"
message on 6.3.3. JP

Then, something must be seriously wrong with Core Audio in OS 10.3.3.
The SATA HD is capable of 40 t0 50 MB per sec, and even if you're only
getting say 30 to 35 MB per sec, that should be plenty to satisfy any
transfer you'd need for a reasonable amount of audio streaming from
files on a Hard Disk.
Truly a mystery.

I was having the not enough memory message as well, then I added another 512
and
seemed to fix that issue, but I'm having tweaked out crashes aside from
that, like
everything freezes up during playback and I started getting loud static
noises or skipping
sounds, and even screen freezing and putting up some kind of kernal panic
message, I
have to manually shutdown the machine and reboot. and then when I try to
restart reason
or recycle after these logicpro crashes they ask for factory disks and
codes. I've never had
this many issues.

I am getting similar symptoms, using a 2x 1.25Ghz G4 with 2Gb ram running
10.3.3.
Since I upgraded to Pro 10 days ago, I get random crashes sometimes even
after playing
back just a few loops with no more than 4 tracks. It happens the same
way.....cracking
static noise (as if the G4 was running out of juice), then freezes and
crashes.

Your problem now sounds like either hardware audio drivers or OS
10.3.3 malfunction due to your main HD being corrupted before the
upgrade to the new OS.
Some Mac users have had success downloading the 10.3.3 combi update
from the Apple website. But you should do your best to repair your HD
before you do any OS installations.
Once you have a solidly repaired HD, then run the Combi install for OS
10.3.3, and see if things get better.
If the combi update doesn't do it, then you probably have a driver and
audio hardware conflict with Logic.
MY problem is different than yours, because everything on my OS is
running fantastic, except Logic Pro. And the only problem I'm having
with LOGIC Pro is the "Disk too Slow" message. Which is actually a
pretty huge problem, when your trying to work on a song, and your
Logic just stops in the middle of a track. (Disk Too Slow or System
Overload!-10010 & -10008)
When running the same audio tracks in Apple's Soundtrack, I get NO
"Disk too Slow" errors at all. So, the errors I'm running into are
abnormalities in Logic and not the Mac OS.
Wish I could figure out why Logic Pro is acting up like this.
Anyone have any clues?

uuuh. that's amazing. I got just the same problem. I already wrote to
logic support, but they coudn't help me. I thought it's because I use
two audio interfaces (tascam US122 for midi and motu 2408 mk II for
audio) at the same time, but that's not the problem. although I
uninstalled the tascam and removed the drivers, it crashes sometimes.
what equipment do you use? I got G4 733 Mhz, MOTU & Tascam, DVD-burner.
