Hi
I'm trying to set up Logic/EVB3 for live use on a powerbook.
It would seem, that the midi control numbers listed in the manual are
incorrect,
and quite a few missing functions.
I went through all 127 control numbers with each of the 3 midi receive
settings
on the EVB3, and can't seem to control a lot of essential parameters such as
'
perc. on/off' , '2nd/3rd harmonic' , 'tube drive' , 'Leslie acc/dec time' ,
' Mic
distance' etc. etc.
Anybody got any pointers

Yeah - Logic Control emulation - see my signature...
John Pitcairn

Quicker than trying control numbers:
In the "audio mixer" cable the intrument channel to a
monitor-object
and move the knobs and faders. The monitor will show you the numbers.
I've just installled Logic Pro and see the B3 for the first time but
found some numbers you are looking for:
perc. on/off: 46 (value 0/1)
2nd/3rd harmonic: 49 (value 0/1)
Mic distance: 80 (value 0-100)

Funny - those don't work in my installation of Logic Pro with the exception
of #80 for Mic
Distance. That one works when the EV3 is set to the NI mode - but no
controller number
will do anything with the Percussion.
I don't know what could be different in my setup, that would make this not
work.......

Wild guess, have you tried...
perc. on/off: 46 (value 0/***127***)
2nd/3rd harmonic: 49 (value 0/***127***) ?

Yeah - i've tried every single controller number with values from 0-127 in
all 3 modes, and no luck.
I have similar weird problems in the Pro 53, that a few controller don't
work. In that one it's the filter section. Wonder what's wrong.

Wilder guess: are CC46 and CC49 assigned to anything in the Key Commands
window?

Or one of them to (activated) automation quick access?
