Subject: strange unwilled automation
Message #160851
Hello, I have been experiencing a strange problem lately . In some of the audioinst tracks the pitchbend and modulation wheel of the virtual instruments are making some movements, up and down, and the sound get these unwanted modulations.. It's strange because it began happening some days ago(I've been using logic without these problem for 10months now). There is nothing in the hyper edit beside the notes with the respective velocitys.. Also no track automation... Anyone ever experienced that ? Thanks in advance for any help. Regards, Ingo Meyer

Just a very wild guess, might be totally off, but.. did you at some point connect a keyboard to MIDI IN with dodgy pitch/modulation wheels? Actually the modulation wheel doesn't even have to be dodgy, if it's just set in some middle position it will send out MIDI modulation messages now and then. Maurits.
