Hi! I'm trying to exchange Logic Song Files and Audio in 16 bit/44.1 khz
with a Friend who only owns Logic Gold 4.8.1 so far.
According to the emagic Holtline the exchange should be possible.
So far the Song files did not open on my friends powerbook.
Here's what I tried so far:
-first of all I didn't use any Logic5/6 automation or plugs or Instruments,
and we're only talking but Logic Gold 4.8.1 readable
Audio-Material(16bit/44.1kHz).
-I exported the song files as 4.8.1 documents from my Version of logic
Platinum 6.3.1 on mac os 9.2.2.
-we tried to either open them in Logic gold 4.8.1 or to import them - to no
avail.
How would you do it?
Any help would be appreciated!

Freeze your audio, record the freeze folder to a CD-r, import the audio
files into the old Logic. Make sure when you are freezing, your audio
prefs are 16 bit, and either SDII or AIF.
