The Tubifex uses mainly the computer's cpu (because of lower latency, i
think).

With my UAD it's best to set the buffer to 1024 samples,
Set Logic's processbuffer in audio hardware setuo to small or medium
(veeery important!)
Also if you're on 10.3 the new UAD drivers available at UniversalAudio
might improve the situation.
But you're right; they should use less CPU!
