WARNING!
If you have designed your own Keystrokes Do NOT trash your OSX prefs or
you will lose them and have to re-enter them! Simply move the prefs on
to the desktop or somewhere else that's safe and import them from there
once your next song opens.

My Open Recent isn't working as well.
How can I fix this?
The response above sounds like a fix, but I don't really follow what he is
trying
to say. How does one "re-enter" OSX prefs?
Thanks.

What he suggested was so that you woud *not* have to reenter them. To
reenter means to
reset them all by hand. OS X, as did all previous versions of the Mac OS,
will create a new
preference file (set to the factory default) anytime there isn't one where
it is supposed to
be. So, if you move your Logic prefs file to the desktop, Logic will create
a brand new one
in it's place the next time it launches. After Logic is open, according to
the previous post,
you will be able to import the *correct* prefs from the desktop. I have
never imported
prefs into Logic so I can't advise on the process.
Hope this helps.

My Open Recent also doesn't work. Never has. Anyone know why?

Yup, it's cos you've got either Kontakt or a Kompakt/Intakt instrument
(I can't remember which - could be either or both!) installed. If you
move the plug-in component files out of their folder, you'll find it
works again. Put 'em back, and it's frizzed again. Move 'em out, it
works. Put 'em back, it's frizzed. Move 'em out... oh, you get the
idea. :-)

Oops, sorry - my earlier suggestion actually makes your Autoload song fail
to launch
automatically on startup. The Open Recent Files problem is probably down to
the fact that
you used the Logic Setup Assistant to create your Autoload, which for some
reason kills
the Open Recent menu. I think you need to trash your Autoload and make a new
one
without using the LSA...

The fix= delete all Logic prefs, and don't use the startup manager.
Make your new prefs on your own..
