Hi - I have posted this request for information three times and have
yet to get an answer. Even a - it can't be done would help. I'm using
autotune 3 with logic plat 6. Can I use a midi track so that my
vocals will be tuned to this - ie a melody line. How does one go
about routing a Midi sequence into the Autotune 3? Any help would be
great. Thank you x

In this amount of time and effort of your part, i can't help but think you
would have succeeded
quicker with a look in the manual.

Hey!
Since the pros have not answered, I will give this a shot....
I don't have this plug-in (I would love to though) but I think this is
what you would have to do.... Anyone correct me if I am wrong (I am not
trying to prove anything here):
1. Record your initial audio track.
2. Below this audio track, create an Audio Instrument track (not just
a regular "audio" track).
3. Insert the AutoTune 3 plug-in in the audio instrument insert (NOT
in the "Inserts" at the top of the channel strip, but the one
below
where it says "I/O" in faded grey letters)....
4. This will be your midi control track.
5. Now, go to the SIDE-CHAIN of the AutoTune plug-in and select the
Track number of the track where your audio recorded in #1 above is.
6. Control away while you are on this Audio Instrument track!!!
Is that right guys?

Yes -- at least that's how you use a midi-controllable effect
plug-in. Insert the plug-in as an audio instrument, use a track
assigned to the instrument to feed it midi data, and use the
plug-in's sidechain to feed it the audio from another track.

When I try this operation I always get a horendous
speaker-busting buzzer noise when I insert AT into
an Instrument input (the one at the bottom just above
Output). This works with other midi controllable
plug-ins but not Auto Tune. Has anyone with Auto Tune
been able to get this to work? What am I doing wrong?
