So only work around is to use the os9 version to convert. Any DP users around can tell us if DP can import OMF under osX or if they are stuck with the same problem ? ---- Stephane Deschamps http://pages.infinit.net/chorus

OS 9 is the *only* way to import an OMF (unless it has very few files). I lost half a day on this one. Totally unacceptable. Here is what the Emagic "Infoweb" says Description: While trying to import a OMF file into Logic Platinum audio files are missing or following error message pops up: "OMF Error / Error Code 205 / OMFI-ERR: Bento Container Error" Explanation: There is a compatibility problem with the OMF library for Mac OS X. This error is probably linked to the number of audio files the OMF file contains. The more audio files that are included the more likely this error will occur. Suggestion: In some cases, the export works when joining some of the used audio files with digital mixdown or bounce before exporting the OMF file. Use Mac OS 9 for exporting/importing. Amazing they suggest you merge your files together before exporting, to reduce the media file count, uh doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of exporting an OMF ? I tried importing with MOTU Audiodesk in OS X, no go there, either. Another of many reasons why you have to keep an OS9 bootable machine around...
