Subject: Logic Education showing error message and won't run on OS 9`
Message #158413
Last June we purchased a 5-pack of Logic Education - which is version 5.5. It comes with a set of 5 XSKeys that we installed on 5 lab Macs for our students. Four are running OS X and one runs OS 9. Today, the two that I check showed error messages telling me that the "beta version" had timed out. On the OS X machine the warning simply states that it is about to expire but the program currently still runs. On the OS 9 machine the program will not successfully boot past the "beta version expired" message. There are not beta version. They are part of a 5-pack of Logic Education that came from emagic. Anyone know what's up here? emagic usa has not replied to my emails and we're entering a crisis situation with only 3 weeks left in our winter term Any advice appreciated via this list and/or direct email. Thanks.
