Subject: Logic & Propellerhead Reason 2.5
Message #158371
Does Logic 5.5.1 support MIDI control of Reason through Rewire? I'm not having any luck. If anyone knows how to do this, any help would be appreciated.

If you're on a PC then you're stuck with Logic 5.5 (like me). I'm not sure about later versions on the Mac though. Anyone else...? Andy M.

Although I don't use Reason right now (as I was just using a Demo of Reason 2.5 at the time).... Rewiring Reason and Logic together works FINE on Mac OS X with Logic 6 and Reason 2.5.... I am sure of this! Chris M.

Logic doesn't support ReWire version 2 and will "eat" MIDI notes before they can get to Logic. If you want to include MIDI data in Reason, you'll have to add it to the sequencer in that application. Kinda sucks, but I never found an easy way around it (well, buying a Mac and upgrading to version 6 of Logic, but...) :) rob
