Speaking of "unclear", I think this whole thread has taken the wrong direction. The original poster asked about normalizing and preserving region positions. Which leads me to believe he was asking about normalizing in the audio window as a means of trimming away unused portions of the audio files; not the other kind of normalizing (in the sample edit window as a way of altering the amplitude). So, to answer the original question. No. It is not possible to batch normalize audio files in Logic. And that applies to either of the "normalize" functions. Trimming away unused audio (Audio window) and/or maximizing signal level (sample edit window). -- Eli Krantzberg Nightshift Orchestra / Almat Productions http://www.nightshiftorchestra.com
