I *think* the answer to the original question is that the only way to normalize is in the sample edit and you cannot open multiple windows...so...no you have to open each one up individually and normalize them one at a time....whatever your reason for doing it may be! If you have access to an external audio editor (WaveLab rules the school in that department), you can set it up to batch process a bunch of files. Otherwise, you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way. :)

Hello!!! Use Peak to BATCH PROCESS all the files that you want to normalize. There are also other programs that can do this. If you only want to do this this ONE time, then just get a demo of Peak, or its likes, and use it during the demo period only! (That is what I did one time when I had a similar process to handle).
