You should have no problems integrating UAD-1 w/Logic [LAW] 5.5.1. This is my next purchase as well, I saw UAD being used with Logc last week and immediately added it to my list. PS.. Cubase SX uses more resources because of the fully compensated bus system, all buses, Input, FX, Group..etc are delay compensated. If you have extra bus objects, delete them. I show only 2-3% more CPU use than Logic. howard
