Subject: using .mus and music .xml files with Logic
Message #158221
I have started to look at notation software and cam across Project Gutenbergs small archive of Chamber music that is available online for free (http://www.gutenberg.net/music/). unfortunately the files there are in a format that Logic doesn't seem to recognize. This is one of the first times I am trying to get into notation at all and I am wondering why Logic doesn't support these file formats, they are touted as "standards" (well, I know, the good thing about standards is, there are so many to choose from...). ddoes anyone have any idea how I can use these files on Mac OS X (the free Finale NotePad requires Classic, which I don't want to install if I can get get around doing that...) thanks in advance! -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- canine_at_waf80_dot_de good night europe. http://kainiggemann.de <your name here> ---------------------------------------------------------------------
