I suppose you could change the time signature to 1/4 as a workaround. It
would seem like an easy and obvious thing to add - since you can get that in
the
Matrix quite nicely. My wish is for grids in the Sample Editor - especially
when zoomed in all the way.

Yes, changing the time signature can approximate DPs grid functionality
but it's awkward and you lose a usable click. Given that Logic is 'THE'
dance-music app I find it surprisingly difficult to execute a simple 8th
or 16th note stutter/delay with audio in Logic. In DP you always know
where the beat is but in Logic it just looks like you're floating in space.
I find myself having to listen to edits (listening - what concept!) to make
sure they're right.
It looks like Logic 7 has some sort of improvements along these lines
but until then does any one care to share any tips on this?
