I just purchased Logic Platinum 6.0 for my Power Mac G5 Dual 2 ghz 1
gig ram computer with Panther. I registered online, re-started my
computer, inserted the XSKey, and then downloaded the 6.3.3 Logic
Platinum upgrade. I dragged it to the "Logic 6 series" folder and
double-clicked, but got the following message:
"XSKEY driver too old!
The XSKey needs the driver 'EmagicXSKey.kext' in version 1.2 to be
installed in thef older /System/Library/Extensions/. Please iunstall
the driver with the installer."
My question: "wha?" Can anyone help me figure out how to get the
6.3.3 upgrade working? I also tried opening 6.0 first, closing it
and then opening 6.3.3, but still got the same message. Thanks for
any help!
Sincerely,
