Subject: Best way to sync audio from Logic and Pro Tools LE?
Message #156237
I recently recorded a bunch of tracks at a studio with Pro Tools. I want to do some overdubs now, and my home setup uses Logic and an 8 channel audio interface. Just to open the files, I was forced to buy an Mbox. Still, I would like to record the overdubs in Logic, not least because the Mbox only gives me 2 channels and I need 5! Still, the overdubs have to end up in Pro Tools eventually, because that is what the studio will use for mixing. So would would be the best way to synchronize my overdubs recorded in Logic with the original files in Pro Tools LE? Thanks in advance... Ken

They forwarded their PT files saved in the AIFF format; I imported into Logic, did the o'dubs, then saved all as AIFF's, and sent them back. No MBox and no problem. hank
