Where did you hear that rumor? That rumor has been around since the days of the Apple buyout. My guess is that it was started by folks with a beef against Emagic/Apple. From folks I know who worked in Apple in 2001, this never happened. You can chalk this up with rumors of: *Video iPods at MacWorld '04 *Pro Tools killer app from Apple at MacWorld/NAMM '04 *Digidesign dropping the Mac at NAMM '04 *Digital Performer going PC at NAMM '04 *New speedbumped PowerMac G5s on January 24th '04 True, some rumors are leaks which turn out to be close to reality. But the vast majority of them are wishful thinking, false statements by people with agendas, or just folks who pass along something they think they hear that may have no basis in reality. Please folks, try not take rumors so seriously, and act as if serious decisions can/will/should be made on the basis of untrue details. Orrren

A friend of mine - a recent convert to Logic from SX - wants to get a copy, but get this - HE DOESN'T HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION!! So he's trying to find it at a local Canadian bookseller, like Indigo perhaps. Rob Yale Yale Music Composition and Production
