I want to sell these and buy a Unitor8 MkII and an AMT8 but I must be able to do sample accurate phase-locked audio transfers from ADAT to LAMP (or another audio program and then open the files in LAMP). If the Unitor8 MkII will NOT support sample accurate phase-locked audio transfers from ADAT do you have any suggestions other then running two MIDI interface rigs?>> The Opcode box is neat and all (and too bad about Opcode ....) BUT it does not do sample accurate anything. Neither does Motu MTP Av or DTP either. All these boxes do is convert the ADAT's location into MTC. MTC is quarter frame accurate which is many, many samples. Sample accuracy is obtained when an audio card has an ADAT sync jack and the chosen software fully implements sample accurate transfers. There are 2 ways to do this today: ADAT EDIT with ADAT connect software and MOTU 2408 using DP or Audiodesk. Sonorus has now announced EASI implementation for their Backplate however there was some discussion earlier this week on the list saying that Logic isn't quite there yet. Once this is resolved there will be a total of three ways to do sample accurate transfers....that's it for now. I am sure that more cards and software will follow however sample accuracy is too frequently misused to describe an ADAT to HD transfer that worked. Andy
