I think the >LAMP-manual is a nice example as well. i had terrible problems with serial communication when i started Midi on the MAC (especially after the Atari) and ADB had been a pain for me, tho it DID work in the end. so don't be under the illusion that the serial ports and the ADB were always solid and reliable, that took time too. personally my experience with Logic Unitor support on USB is good so far (i do have (OMS ?) problems with my Midisport USB interface) Best Regards, Gareth Jones: http://www.garethjones.com
