He stated that how many tracks you can get from a harddrive also have to do with how the software reads them (or something like that). He said that Paris and Maxtor seems to be a very good combination for working with audio. He also said he didn't notice any boost in performance when going to a 7200 drive. Also; the new harddrives that shows better performance in tests, doesn't prove to be better for audio applications. BTW: He also played back 64 tracks while recording 16 onto the same drive in the test.
