Just my opinion and experience (to end this thread! or reply privately, please): With Windoze any machine is shit to me. I don´t need that crazy CPU-horsepower you have - I have a TDM system (I can do 64 audio tracks and the Mac reacts as quickly as with only one audio track). All this is running on 2 18GB Cheetahs connected to an Adaptec 2940UW, and I never had any disk problems. And the Mac-OS is very easy to maintain, which Windoze is not. Even IE and Outlook (Express) are better as Mac-versions IMO. Not to mention the lot of friends I have who all have silly Windoze-probs which I have to deal with to keep their systems up and running.
