marius, i've got 64 tracks out of a 24 mix plus system in the following configuration: B&W G3, 400MHz, 256 MB (ram) adaptec 2940 scsi card hot swapable rorke data, two 9GB drives in the chassis dae buffer at 3, sometimes at 4, we get the "disk too slow or fragmented....." messagge once in a while when looping.
