<[LAM]'s kicked the bucket> Periodically, my system¹s MIDI communication breaks down ‹ and I have figured out what, if anything, triggers it. I¹m running the latest version of Logic using the config below. There are times when I boot up Logic and it can¹t find the Unitor and its devices; often at that point, I go to ŒAudio MIDI Setup¹ and see the Unitor8 icon greyed out. Whe I click ŒRescan MIDI¹, SOMETIMES the connection is restored, other times (like now) nothing. Even restarting all the machines does do anything. This also happens when I leave Logic booted and everything on overnight. Suggestions anyone? If so, do you have other MIDI drivers in /Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers? Try removing them, they might confuse the MIDI Server.
