Hi all, This is not a G5 bash, I basically love it -BUT- I found out the hard way that there is a well known issue with the system drive prematurely failing due to overheating if you fit a second internal hard drive (esp the 250GB types) say for audio. Apparently the heat sensor that kicks in the fan is badly positioned and as a result the drive bay fan does not increase cooling when needed. I found details on Apple discussions and xlr8yourmac.com - after mine died! The issue of a black screen on start up is also now widely known. Hoping Apple stand up and take the rap, get it sorted and move on cause it's a wicked machine other wise. Gareth
