> How did you set up logic and the remote 25 to work with mmc messages?
Not in front of one, but.... There is a procedure on the keyboard for
selecting each control on the unit and defining what it does. In this
mode, I went to each of the transport controls, and defined it as type:
MMC (as opposed to Controller, etc.) and value: Stop (or Start, etc.) -
then saved those settings to the particular preset in the Remote 25 for
Logic I was using.
As I recall the unit always defaults to preset #1 when powered on, so
you may want to copy the Logic preset you are making to preset #1.

I've been using my remote 25 with Logic for about a month or so. The
only tricky bit about getting Logic to recognise the Remote 25 transport
buttons was making sure logic was set to listen for MMC. If you don't
do this it won't matter which preset your
on as Logic won't 'hear' your frantic button pressing.
You can do this by selecting the Synchronisation option from the menu
attached to the Sync object on the Logic transport bar. Once you've got
that menu up select the MIDI tab and enable 'Listen to MMC Input'.
Once you've done this you should find the
tranport buttons work for even for the Preset #1 (Vstation 1?) when
you switch the Remote 25 on. At least - it works with mine.
Good luck
Phil
