Subject: Re: saving EXS Settings on a per song basis
Message #153207
Forigve me if this has been discussed before, but I've searched the archives and can't find any relevant info...I even dug into that _fabulous_ logic help file that replaces my version 3 manual ;-0 I'm a recent convert to X, running 6.3.2 on OSX 10.2.8 When I was in system nine, and I made changes to an EXS instrument, the settings were saved with the song, leaving the original esx instrument alone. A behaviour I liked as I constantly tweek my instruments (tuning etc) on a song by song basis, and rarely need to save them for posterity. Now in X, unless I deliberately save the instrument, it is no longer saved with the song, which I find a real nuisance..Is this behaviour normal under osx? Can I change it?...do I need to dig finally into the project manager to sort this out? I know I can save these instruments to the instrument folder in the song folder, but I find this a real nuisance Any thoughts appreciated...
