Subject: Error Message Definitions
Message #153203
Does anyone know where I could find the definitions of the error codes that get generated from time to time in Logic 6? I'm getting error codes "-36" and "-43". It would be nice to know what these actually refer to so that I could make the proper changes. Thanks. - Bernie

There are several types of error codes, some of which point outside Logic to generic OS error codes. Small utilities exist which list those, google for 'Easy Errors' or 'System Errors 7.0.1', for instance. Apart from pointing you to missing files and similar, they mostly are of little use, since you'd have to have a decent chunk of programming under your belt to, for instance, interpret 'Error 2' which is spelled out as 'Address Error' (doh!) as memory related. Which it appears to be...sometimes. Christian -- homepage http://uk.geocities.com/christianobermaier/ChristianObermaier.htm
