I've just sold a perfectly good MOTU Midi Xpress XT to replace it with an AMT8 so that when I upgrade my mac to a G4 - I don't have to throw away the internal modem and spend even more money on an Stealth serial port. I was under the impression that USB was far superior for midi. Also, do you need to buy a USB hub in order to use an AMT8 with Logic or does the iMate allow you to connect the Logic dongle in serial with the AMT8? Thanks for any comments. Paul
